Doodlefolk

Doodlefolk press kit

Little people living on your Windows desktop.

Doodlefolk is a desktop life sandbox from BinaryForge. Stick figures live along your taskbar and the tops of your windows while you work: they climb, play with toys, make friends and rivals, and get into trouble.

The kit includes fresh native screenshots, logo, fact sheet and the latest completed film. It contains no game download or private source.

The little world

Each doodle has its own looks, personality settings, likes and moods. They make friends and rivals, keep pets and play together. Players can choose a cast, arrange furniture and toys, draw on the desktop, and make data-only mods with the included DoodleKit guide, shared through the Steam Workshop.

Calm and focus settings, sound controls, hiding, and tray quit controls let players decide how much goes on while they work. Fighting and life events have their own options. The town runs locally and works offline. There’s no AI chat, no online friend visits and no Mac or mobile version.

Fresh screenshots

Staged demonstration scenes captured with the native renderer and actual Studio on 13 October 2026, development build 1.3.12. The desktop windows are illustrative. These are not captures of a player's personal desktop.

Latest completed promotional film, revision 20. It contains development footage from several earlier revisions and staged scenes, rather than an unbroken recording of a released build.
